Are you smarter than a 10 year old?

Recently I was watching a local news broadcast showing a video someone on a cellphone had recorded of a man wearing a black T-shirt with the following in bold white lettering; “Your mask makes you look stupid”. He was ranting at some 10- to 12-year-old children at their school campus saying, “Stay scared! Keep your masks on, that don’t even work!” the man can be heard yelling in the video. “Look at this grown man with a mask on,” he continues, gesturing towards the man taking the video. “What a frickin’ coward!” “My kids are forced to wear a f—ing mask, so f— you!” the man says, before claiming that masks “don’t work” to lower the odds of getting COVID and calling them “f—ing child abuse.” First, I have to wonder about anyone who yells profanity laced views at schoolchildren.  He was basically telling them the opposite of literally thousands of highly educated doctors, researchers and experts choosing instead to espouse the claims of idiots with no medical or other expertise who make baseless claims through the internet.  Based on his own words, it’s not too much of a stretch to guess he’s an anti-vaxxer.  Based on his actions, he’s probably not exactly willing to listen to reason.  Almost certainly he will eventually become infected possibly spreading the virus to friends and family members some of whom could die due to his inability to discern facts from fiction.  Maybe he will come to realize the wearing of that t-shirt makes him the one who looks stupid but, I doubt it.
